About Nino von Tronje
Nino Von Tronje was a highly titled, and respected 2012 Vice-World Sieger imported German Working Dog owned by Dr. Morton Goldfarb. Dr. Goldfarb purchased Nino and brought him to the United States to improve and add quality genetic diversity to American German Shepherds. Nino's progeny will likely join other American bred German Shepherds as "Icons of the Breed" in America. In 2013 Nino was USCA VA-1 Sieger and High Protection Award 5-5 and GSDCA Inaugural Sieger Show VA-1 Sieger. In 2014, Nino was GSDCA Sieger 3X German Excellent Select (VA).
We already have the privilege of being one of the owners of a Nino daughter. We have started planning our breedings and have breedings continuing merging proven "Working Dog Lines" with proven "Show Lines." Since we were pleased with the success of the progeny of Nino, we contacted Dr. Morton Goldfarb of Beechbrook Kennel about the possibility of breeding Nino to our Karma which resulted in our Samson's Hard To Handle. On June 27, 2018, we bred Roxy DeLisi CD, CGCA, OFA to a Nino son, Champion Anne Isle's Dominic.
Dr. Goldfarb is the North American Continental Director (USA / Canada / Mexico ) of the World Union of German Shepherd Associations (WUSV). After negotiation, Dr. Goldfarb agreed to a breeding with our Karma Carmella CGC, TC, CHIC. Nino is a proven "prepotent" sire with a proven higher-than-average ability to pass on his favorable traits to his progeny.
We have donated from this high quality breeding to a veteran through the SEAL Dog Foundation. We are hoping to continue the Nino legacy, together with our other lines.
Nino von Tronje passed at the
age of 12 years.
