About Rocco Vom Mittelwest

We contacted Julie Martinez of Mittelwest German Shepherds in late 2016 after researching the Performance Award Winner and 2012 North American Sieger Show (NASS) Rocco Vom Mittelwest. Mittelwest German Shepherds has been ranked as the #1 Breeder in North America by the German SV in Germany for 15 consecutive years and is an AKC "Breeder of Merit!" It was our desire to merge proven "Working Dog Lines" with our proven "Show Lines" to produce our "Total Dog Lines." Mittelwest German Shepherds is one of the premier "working dog" kennels in the United States. They agreed to breed Rocco to our CH Karma Carmella CGC, TC, CHIC.

Our first litter was whelped in Spring of 2017 and we had more requests than we had puppies. We had no problems placing puppies from this litter. The litter produced gorgeous puppies and we donated 2 of them to individuals through the SEAL Dog Foundation. Out of our litter we placed 3 puppies, 1 male and 2 females that will soon start competition and pending their health and titles, are future breeding prospects.

Pictured below is one of our females, "Xoe" winning on May 5th and 6th, 2018. Xoe won her Class, Best of Sex, Best of Breed, Best of Group and Reserve Best in Show in 3 Shows in 1 weekend! Our Junior Handler also won Best Junior Handler in both Shows and again repeated with the same win on May 6, 2018! We were given the opportunity to converse with several judges after the weekend shows and ask their opinions about our dogs and "Total Dog Line" breeding program, which were very positive! In 2018, Xoe was ranked in the Top Ten Nationally in the UKC on points!
